ศูนย์คอมพิวเตอร์และเทคโนโลยีทางการศึกษา คณะรัฐศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย มีภารกิจในการส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนงานด้านบริหาร ด้านวิชาการและวิจัยของคณะรัฐศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย มีภารกิจในการนำเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและเทคโนโลยีทางการศึกษา มาสนับสนุนและประยุกต์ใช้งานเพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายยุทธศาสตร์ที่คณะฯ ได้วางไว้ ศูนย์คอมพิวเตอร์และเทคโนโลยีทางการศึกษา คณะรัฐศาสตร์ ได้แบ่งภารกิจออกเป็น 5 ด้าน ดังนี้ (1) ด้านการสนับสนุนระบบเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ (2) ด้านการให้บริการระบบเครือข่ายคอมพิวเตอร์และสื่อสาร (3) ด้านการให้บริการคอมพิวเตอร์และอุปกรณ์ต่อพ่วง (4) ด้านการให้บริการเทคโนโลยีทางการศึกษา และ (5) ด้านการให้บริการอื่นๆที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเทคโนโลยี
